NGOs for the Military

This book is about nongovernmental organizations, often referred to as private voluntary organizations, nonprofits, charities, and (humanitarian) aid organizations. Its aim is to orient the military with NGOs: their operations, strengths, limitations, budgets, practices, and other characteristics that make them unique actors in a large and dynamic humanitarian community.

The design and layout of the book was prepared in InDesign using Open Face fonts Calibri, Cambrian, Minion Pro, Trebuchet MS, and Wingdings. Primary dissemination is online in pdf format, which determined the choice of fonts, single-sided layout, and judicious use of full color.
